Albuquerque, NM 87107

As part of its mission to build a clean and sustainable future for our City, Keep Albuquerque Beautiful is conducting a study to identify strategies to reduce food waste throughout our community. Our team is looking for 100 individuals to participate in a week long study to identify challenges people face when it comes to wasting food and gather feedback on how the City of Albuquerque can help lower the footprint.

The task is simple and time requirement is minimal. Participants will be required to complete two short surveys over the course of one week:

  • Overview of current food consumption and disposal habits
  • How the materials provided by KAB helped reduce their food waste over the week.

All participants will receive a free food waste reduction kit with items, information, and other resources to help reduce the amount of food they throw away. Kits will be available for pick up from 8 AM to 5 PM on Monday, June 17 and Tuesday, June 18.

The results and feedback from this week-long study will be used to identify the challenges individuals face with food waste and strategies for how the City of Albuquerque can help address those challenges to create a more sustainable environment.

Individuals interested in participating in this study are asked to register at One ABQ Volunteers
