Incident Details

On Aug. 1, officers responded to APD’s gunshot detection system at 9:19 p.m. in the area of Cornell St. and Lead Ave., S.E. Officers found Muhammed on the sidewalk. He had been shot and died as a result of his wounds.

On Nov. 7, 2021, officers responded to a possible shooting at 6:41 p.m. at 1401 San Mateo Blvd., N.E. Officers found Mohammad in the rear parking lot of the business. He died as a result of a gunshot wound.

Incident Details

APD officers in the Southeast Area Command responded Friday, Aug. 5, 2022, just before midnight to reports of a shooting in the area of Truman St. and Grand Ave., N.E. An adult male was located and found to be deceased from a gunshot wound. Homicide detectives were called to the scene to start an investigation. Investigators learned the victim, later identified as Naeem Hussain, 25, is Muslim and a native from Pakistan.
