Transportation Development Section
What We Do
This section is responsible for determining the transportation related requirements for development projects in the city. This section also reviews and comments on site plans, Master Development Plans, and annexations and that are requesting approvals from Boards or Commissions.
How We Serve You
Our staff can assist with any questions related to approvals, reviews or permits for any of the areas handled by this section. Reviews conducted by the Transportation Development Section include:
- As part of the Development Review Board, the Section reviews submissions to determine if transportation infrastructure or easements are required
- Construction plans as part of the Design Review Committee process
- For the Environmental Planning Commission, the Section reviews and comments on site plans, annexations and master development plans
- Transportation Circulation Layout (TCL) for building permits
- Driveway/curb cut permits
- Traffic Impact Studies (TIS) that are required due to development
- Site plans that are requesting Landmarks Commission approval

Development Process Manual
