Description

Notice is hereby given that the Executive Committee in charge of maintaining the City of Albuquerque Development Process Manual (DPM) is considering amending the DPM.

The following areas are being proposed for amendments:

  1. Chapter 7 - Public, Commercial and Multi-family Building Permit Process (proposed Chapter 2-6 Related Building Permits);
  2. Chapter 8 - Other Construction Permits (proposed Chapter 2-7 Other Construction Permits);
  3. Chapter 17 - Procedures for Drainage Submittals (proposed Chapter 2-8 Drainage and Traffic Layout Submittals);
  4. Chapter 21 - Recordable and Development Documents (proposed Chapter 5 Recordable and Development Documents);
  5. Chapter 22 - Hydrology Section 2 – Drainage, Flood Prevention, Stormwater Quality and Erosion Control.

Amendments 4 – 7 are intended to update language and procedures to be consistent with the City's Integrated Development Ordinance (IDO).

Amendment 8 is intended to update precipitation from NOAA Atlas 2 to Atlas 14 and to add the SCS Curve Number method.

Public Comments

The meeting will be open to the public and any person may give verbal or written testimony in favor of or in opposition to the proposed amendment.

In addition, written comments not made at the meeting and related to these amendments will be accepted through April 17, 2016.
