Have you heard that the City is completely replacing its 1970s zoning code? Have you been wondering why? Or maybe you've heard something about "zoning" but aren't sure what zoning even means?

This meeting is for you!

Come learn about zoning and the City's proposed Integrated Development Ordinance (IDO), which is headed to the City Council for consideration on August 16, 2017.

City staff on the project team will give an overview presentation of zoning in general, the City's zoning code today, and the proposal to replace the zoning code to guide land use and development for the next 20 years.

Can't make it on this date/time? The same meeting is offered at the following times, all in the Basement Hearing Room of Plaza del Sol, 600 2nd Street NW:

  • Thurs., July 27, 1-2 p.m. – Zoning 101
