The Friends of Estancia Valley Animals (FEVA) are working with the Town of Edgewood on the 13th Annual Woofstock Festival.
Woofstock is a long-standing Edgewood tradition and one of the largest pet adoption events in the state.
The event will have 15-20 animal rescue groups who will bring dogs and cats for on-the-spot adoptions.
Animal Welfare Department Lucky Paws Adoption Van will be bringing pets to adopt. The adoption fee will be waived at the event. Each adoption includes spay or neuter, pet tag, microchip, required vaccinations and one free initial vet visit. For dogs, you will receive on free dog training class.
There will be live music by Brightsmith and others throughout the day, raffles, face painting and food trucks. Dogs will be able to create their own painting.
Vendors come from all over the state with pet supplies.
FEVA works with several Edgewood veterinarians who will be on-site at Woofstock to provide expert animal advice. The event is free, but there is a fee for shots and microchipping.
