Bill Harvey, Director of Golf, Head Professional
Harvey has been a PGA Professional since 1989. He has won the Sun Country PGA Teacher of the Year award twice and the Sun Country PGA Player of the Year award an impressive seven times. Harvey previously taught at Arroyo del Oso from 1999 to 2015. He qualified for the U.S. Senior Open in 2014 in Oak Tree, Okla. and in 2017 in Colorado at the Broadmoor, and also has been named a Golf Digest New Mexico Teacher of the Year. Harvey was also a Lobo basketball player from 1980 to 1982. He is originally from Hampton Bays, N.Y., and has two adult sons.

Enjoy a golfing challenge on Albuquerque's West Side at Ladera.
Surrounding Ladera are beautiful views of the Sandia Mountains to the east and the volcanoes to the west.
Ladera measures 7,107 yards from the championship tees, 6,618 from the regulation tees with a Par 72, and 5,066 yards from the forward tee, which also has a Par 72. The course includes a 9-hole Executive Course that stretches 2,053 yards from the men's tees and 1,852 yards from the women's tees.
Ladera is a challenging city-owned course, with the longest playing yardage of any of the other city courses.

The Executive 9-hole course has a moderate to advanced challenge level and is favored by beginners, seniors, and junior golfers.
The long course is uniquely designed in natural terrain, nestled at the foot of the volcanoes.

Afternoon rates are effective 4 1/2 hours before the official sundown.
Junior rates are in effect seven days a week including holidays.
