Description

Family Nature Clubs is a model of engagement designed and led by the Children & Nature Network. The City of Albuquerque Open Space Division, Department of Family and Community Services, and other early childhood partners are coming together to present this program and other local resources to get families out and about. This exciting model encourages families to foster exposure to nature and outdoor play that research shows makes for a happier and healthier family.

Bring the whole family to this event! Snacks and refreshments will be provided.

Schedule:

12:50-1 p.m., Sign-in

1-15 p.m., Outdoors Family Activity

1:15-1:30 p.m., Short Video, Discussion, and Snack time

1:30-1:50 p.m., Family Nature Club Toolkit Activity

1:50-2:30 p.m., Outdoor Activity followed by a Family Nature Walk
