9:00am -12:00pm, December 28-30

Elementary-aged youth join an Open Space education park ranger and education assistant for fun and in-depth learning about the natural world around them. Program takes place at the Open Space Visitor Center and includes hiking and outdoor exploration, hands-on science, literacy, and art activities.

Program takes place at the Open Space Visitor Center in both the activities room and outside. Child should attend camp prepared to have fun in the outdoors and get into nature. Classes take place once-a-month and topics vary seasonally. Parking and restroom facilities available at the Visitor Center.

Program is $30 for the three-day camp (three-hour program each day), registration is required at play.cabq.gov (Open Space → Public Programs → Family Programs → School Break Explorer Camp)
