Description
Birding for Beginners: Come explore an easy, new hobby with the Open Space Division at your local library as we talk about the hobby of bird watching. Learn how to use and adjust binoculars custom to your vision, identify common species, and hear about the best locations around the city to spot our feathered friends. Not only will you get the chance to practice binocular and field guide use in the classroom, but an optional guided walk around the urban space outside of the library will be offered at the end of the program to practice those skills. All materials are provided for the class, no need to bring anything but your curiosity to learn something new.
