Wildfire Preparedness Day: Green Waste Disposal Bins

Reduce the threat of wildfire around your home.

In an effort to reduce the threat of wildfire to your home and community, the Albuquerque Fire Department is asking you to "Do Your Part" and we are here to help you by placing green waste containers at various Open Space locations for residents who live in wildland urban interface areas to dispose of green waste.

By removing leaves, downed branches, trimming trees and cleaning out gutters you will reduce the threat of wildfire to your home.

Together we can make a difference!
