Gateway Center at Gibson Health Hub
The City acquired the Gibson Medical Center in April 2021 and renamed it the Gibson Health Hub. The campus hosts existing tenants providing medical, behavioral health, and vocational services. The City's Gateway project will add additional health resources for the community as well as centrally located overnight beds and supportive services to connect people with the help they need on their pathway to housing.

Timelines and More Information
The City is building Gateway in stages, with the first services anticipated to come online in April, 2023.
In Phase I:
- The Overnight beds and Engagement Center will serve 200 single adult women-identifying individuals per year with the goal of 90-day transitions to housing.
- The First Responder Receiving Area will make up to 1,500 transports a year to needed services.
- The medical sobering center will have 49 beds to provide medical care and addiction recovery services to over 16,000 people a year.
The Gateway follows best practices from around the country including using a low-barrier approach where services are not forced on individuals, but a plan is made based on the needs of the person.
