It's time for Zoo Boo! We're celebrating 27 years of safe Halloween fun this year with games, Haunted Habitats, costumes and, of course, candy! Trick-or-treat from dozens of sponsoring businesses and civic organizations at tables throughout the Zoo.

Due to increased crowds during Zoo Boo, the Thunderbird Express train will not be operating. The Rio Line between the Zoo and Botanic Garden/Aquarium will be operating.

Zoo Boo is the Zoo's busiest day of the year, and finding parking can be a challenge.

If you park in the neighborhood nearby, please be considerate and do not block driveways.

Note: 10th street is currently under Road Construction and detours may be present in areas near the Zoo.

Parking Alternatives

Free park and ride shuttle - the service will be available starting at 10 a.m. from the surface parking lot at Marquette & 3rd Street. Buses will continue to run until 6 p.m.

You can also avoid the traffic by taking a city bus. (Route 53 stops a block from the zoo. Routes 766 and 66 stop outside the Aquarium & Botanic Garden.)

Want to Volunteer?

Many hands make Zoo Boo possible. Must be 18 or older, and costumes are encouraged!

If you would like to volunteer for Zoo Boo, please, call (505) 848-7172.
