Winter Fire Colors Show Heats Things Up

Escape winter's chill with fiery hues at the ABQ BioPark Botanic Garden.

Jan. 18, 2019 - The ABQ BioPark is heating things up this winter with some fiery flowers.

The Winter Fire Colors Flower Show will run from January 19 to February 18 at the Botanic Garden Mediterranean Conservatory.
"This show offers visitors a chance to warm up with beautiful flowers in hot colors," said Maria Thomas, ABQ BioPark curator of plants. "These fiery hues provide welcome relief from winter's chill."
This year's show will start with cyclamen, bromeliads, African violets and other tropical plants. As the show progresses, garden staff will add lilies, jasmine and other fragrant plants.

The event is included with regular admission.
