Escape winter's chill with fiery hues at the ABQ BioPark Botanic Garden.

The ABQ BioPark is heating things up this winter with some fiery flowers.

The Winter Fire Colors Flower Show will run from Jan. 20 to Feb. 19 at the Botanic Garden Mediterranean Conservatory.

Show Features

"This show offers visitors a chance to warm up with beautiful flowers in hot colors," said Maria Thomas, ABQ BioPark assistant curator of horticulture. "These fiery hues provide welcome relief from winter's chill."

This year's show will feature kangaroo paws, Dutch anthurium, tropical bromeliads, primrose, hibiscus and other tropical plants. The plants are an assortment of temperate and tropical flowering plants and colorful foliage.

The event is included with regular admission.
