BioPark Beginnings Registration Open for Children Age 3-6.
Dec. 6, 2019 - Give a child the gift of nature this holiday season.
 
Registration is open for BioPark Beginnings, a 12-week or 6-week class at the ABQ BioPark geared for kids ages 3-6.
 
"Kids will love the hands-on interactive format of these classes, while learning about some of their favorite wildlife," said Cheri Vogel, ABQ BioPark education curator. "Ms. Ann is a dynamic and enthusiastic teacher who sparks imaginations and excites the senses of young students."
 
Preschoolers, who must be accompanied by an adult, will explore the wonders of the Americas. Classes include songs, games, crafts, and visits to the Zoo, Aquarium, Botanic Garden and Tingley Beach.
 
There are two 12-week sessions: Tuesdays at 1-2:30 p.m. starting January 14 and Wednesdays at 9:30-11 a.m. starting January 15. There are also four 6-week sessions available: Tuesdays at 1-2:30 p.m. starting January 14, Wednesdays at 9:30-11 a.m. starting January 15, Tuesdays at 1-2:30 p.m. starting February 25 and Wednesdays at 9:30-11 a.m. starting February 26. 
 
The cost for one child and one adult is $175 for 12-week classes and $90 for 6-week classes. Up to two additional children can be added for $80 each.
