Description

In this workshop, kids will participate in fun, interactive activities teaching core computer science fundamentals. They will learn the concepts of loops, variables, conditionals and functions that form the basis for all programming languages. They will engage with fun games that teach computer science concepts, and then use what was learned to control programmable robots. 

Registration Form

Instructor, Paul Perez, is a professional software consultant, a Dad, and a volunteer with CodeClubs.org, a local nonprofit working to strengthen computer science education in New Mexico through fun, free, and interactive classes and workshops. Paul spent the last 20 years developing software, and continues to contribute to the well-being of kids in the community wherever possible.

$20. per child (Grades 6 through 12 only.)
Registration required.
Registration deadline is March 8, 2019 at 4:00 pm.
Fee includes course instruction, all supplies, lunch, entry to the Balloon Museum, and entry to
Balloon Museum Pod Race 9 (2 - 4 pm, March 10 at the Balloon Museum)
