Description

Author and aural historian Jack Loeffler uses excerpts from recorded conversations to explore the tremendous influence that the New Mexico landscape and Native American cultures had on the burgeoning counterculture movement, as well as the influence of psychedelics on many of the so-called 'hippies". He will also convey how the counterculture movement and the radical environmental movement co-evolved and remain present in different forms even today.

See photographs from the counterculture movement in the exhibition, A Past Rediscovered.
