An Open Meeting will now be held on Ocober10, 2013, at 4:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers located in the basement of City Hall, 1 Civic Plaza NW, to consider amending the Police Oversight Commission’s Rules and Regulations by amending the last sentence of Section 7(A) of Article I of the Police Oversight Commission Rules and Regulations 2012, to read as follows: “Members of the public are limited to three minutes unless modified at the discretion of the Chair and individuals who sign up for public comment may donate their time to another speaker, but any person to whom time has been donated will be limited to a total of three (3) time allotments during which to speak.”
Article I, Section 7(A) states:
“ Public Comment. Members of the public may sign up for public comment before the meeting begins. Pursuant to §9-4-l-5 H, each POC meeting will begin with public comments. Members of the public are limited to two minutes unless modified at the discretion of the Chair.”
Public comments on the proposed rule change are welcomed and encouraged. If special accommodations are necessary to attend this meeting or if you have questions about this notice, please call the Independent Review Office of the Police Oversight Commission at (505) 924-3770.
