The public is cordially invited to join us for another installment of our ongoing RESOLANA public poetry series:

                       Resolana Crossroads/La Encrucijada

This is a FREE public event, all ages welcome! Organized by Resolana Poetry, Swimming With Elephants Publications, Bill Nevins and New Mexico RPB. Thanks to the City of Albuquerque for once again providing the fine venue of South Broadway Cultural Center.

This particular reading is in response to many of the tragic events, acts of violence and racism, and instances of ugly demagoguery which have troubled not only our community, but our nation and world this year. Our community, our nation and our world are at a "crossroads". We want to spread awareness and response with our words in order to inspire positive change in our world, but we must first start with our community.

Please come out to see and hear and join with some of New Mexico's best artists in Written and Spoken Word, including all three of Albuquerque's Poet Laureates: Hakim Bellamy, Jessica Helen Lopez, Manuel Gonzalez.

And, a selection of some of our nationally recognized New Mexico Performance and "Page" and Community Poets: Mercedez Holtry, John Roche, Rich Boucher, Larry Goodell, Matthew Brown, Ebony Isis Booth, Robert Warren,John Barney, Lisa Alvarado, Zachary Kluckman, Katrina Guarascio, Sarita Sol Gonzalez, Jesus Lucero, Jill Batson, Generation Justice,Marcial Delgado, Larry Goodell, Kevin Kirby, Tlacaelel Fuentes, Beatlick Sisters,Ken Bagnuli, Bill Nevins.

Our esteemed MC for the evening is Manuel Gonzalez, current Albuquerque Poet Laureate, and author of "My Name is Albuquerque but My Friends Call Me Burque”!

Come with an open mind, heart and ears. We may find some measure of artistic and communal respite from the "ugly" of our world for an evening. And some joy!
