September 19, 2021 - The Anderson Abruzzo Albuquerque International Balloon Museum announces its line-up of events and new exhibitions to experience during this year’s 49th annual Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, happening October 2-10. The Balloon Museum is open year-round and is situated south of the Balloon Fiesta Park with stunning views of the activities at Balloon Fiesta Park.

In addition to illuminating permanent exhibitions, visitors to the Balloon Museum will be able to experience a number of new exhibitions. Additionally, temporary exhibitions will be on view during Fiesta including: All Black and White, an exploration of black and white patterns and design in New Mexico by indigenous and local artists as well as in the clothing worn by Launch Directors or “Zebras” at Balloon Fiesta. MAGIC, by Jane Maclean - a large-scale painting of Balloon Fiesta that features instrumental figures such as Sid Cutter, Maxie Anderson and Ben Abruzzo; and In Their Words: Stories by Women on the Ground and In the Air, highlights women in ballooning throughout history and in the present with images, artifacts, and art. In addition, Sport Ballooning and Hall of Fame received a refresh to include incoming inductees and new artifacts.
