Description
Since 1924, and now marking its 101-year milestone, the South Broadway neighborhood has gathered to honor this significant event, which took place on the hill of Tepeyac in Mexico in 1531. Over the decades the exhibition has become a cherished tradition that fosters unity and cultural richness within the community. This year also marks the 30th anniversary of the gallery space itself, adding an extra layer of celebration for the South Broadway Cultural Center.
A highlight of this year's exhibition is the community altar, a centerpiece created by Los Guadalupanos. The exhibition brings a unique perspective to the annual celebration of Our Lady of Guadalupe. The community altar serves as a focal point for collective reflection and reverence, inviting visitors to engage with the cultural and spiritual significance of the event.
