Description
Hanami is the traditional Japanese custom of viewing cherry or plum blossoms. It is a time of reflecting on the transitory nature of life and celebrating beauty with family and friends. Join us on a tour of the Japanese garden and enjoy the blossoms of the five varieties of flowering cherry trees and many other spring flowering plants. On the weekends, there will also be the opportunity to make origami tulips and view ikebana. There will also be a do-it-yourself origami station in the Japanese Garden.
Special Hanami Tours
- Special Hanami tours daily at 10 and 11 a.m., pending volunteer availability.
