THIS EVENT IS POSTPONED. PLEASE CHECK BACK LATER FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT A NEW DATE.
Learn about the ongoing field work that ABQ BioPark staff has been doing, including partnering with zookeepers at the National Zoo d’Abidjan and local PhD students in Cote d’Ivoire, Africa. This past year, we worked at a new field site called Mani Beach, monitoring nesting sea turtles. We also tracked pangolins, dwarf crocodiles, slender-snouted crocodiles and West African crocodiles. This research helps to protect this diverse and vulnerable ecosystem, and works to build important relationships with locals, NGOs and Embassy officials.
