Tim Anderson 4-D Theater

For fans of experiential film viewing, the Tim Anderson 4-D Theater will engage audiences in visual, aural, and physical sensations as they watch ballooning and other flight and science-related short films.

Entry to the theater is included with admission to the museum (except as otherwise promoted for a special event).

Currently, visitors may enjoy two excellent videos, which are shown back-to-back:

• The first, The Worlds Largest Hot Air Balloon Fiesta, is a four-minute, 2-D film about everyone's favorite balloon rally, the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta!
• This is followed by My Balloon Ride, a five-minute, 4-D video filmed aboard balloons from Rainbow Ryders, Albuquerque's largest balloon ride operator. Scenes capture inflation, lift-off, flight, landing and chase crew operations.

Screening Times

Film screenings are offered Tuesday through Sunday every 15 minutes beginning at 9:30 a.m. The last showtime begins at 4:30 p.m.
