Casa San Ysidro is a satellite program of the Albuquerque Museum operated jointly with the Village of Corrales, New Mexico, with support from Sandoval County and the State of New Mexico Historic Preservation Division. The property is home to a comprehensive collection of New Mexican art and furnishings. Open for scheduled tours only.

Growing up in Rural New Mexico
Author Gloria Zamora talks about Sweet Nata, her narrative about life in New Mexico during the 1950s and 60s. Admission is free.

PRO TIPS

  1. Include Albuquerque Museum on your post-balloon agenda and take advantage of free parking while you visit Old Town.
  2. Get your breakfast burrito with chopped green chile at our café, Slate at the Museum — so yummy!
    (Slate is open Thurs.–Sun., 9:30 a.m.–3 p.m.)
  3. Grab some fiesta swag at the Museum Store, which features great local artists and specialty gifts.
  4. Stash your jacket in our free, convenient storage lockers as the weather warms up during the day.
  5. Sign up for a tour of Casa San Ysidro, just down the road from the Balloon Fiesta park. It's not unusual for a balloon to land in Casa's Heritage Field!
