Description

The public is invited to a community planting day. Students from the Land Arts of the American West and Art and Ecology students at the University of New Mexico will unveil plans for this year’s garden. We will get our hands in the soil to plant flowers, herbs, and vegetables together. There are two opportunities to co-create this living art. Masks and social distancing are required. All are welcome!

Join us at the Albuquerque Museum Sculpture Garden; north side of the building at Mountain Road & 20th St.

  • 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
  • 4 p.m. - 6 p.m.

Land Arts of the American West and Art & Ecology students at the University of New Mexico present their public art and agro-ecology project at the Albuquerque Museum Sculpture Garden. This art space and garden was started in 2018 as a site for community events and experimental art and ecology creations. The project cultivates relationships between soil, plants, and animals with the greater Albuquerque community.
