ABQ RIDE will offer Park & Ride bus service to the 2007 New Mexico State Fair. Service will be offered each day of the event, which runs from Friday, September 7, through Sunday, September 23.

Where are the Park & Ride locations?

Buses will pick passengers up from two Park & Ride locations:

  • Coronado Mall (northwest corner)
  • Coors & St. Joseph's (southwest corner of intersection)

What are the Park & Ride hours of operation?

The Park & Rides will operate daily from 8:30 a.m. to midnight. Please note: Park & Ride service will end at 8 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 23.

 

How much does it cost to use the Park & Ride?

A one-way trip on the Park & Ride buses costs:

  • $1 for anyone 12 and older
  • 50 cents for children ages 5-11
  • 50 cents for honored citizens (age 62+ or mobility impaired)
  • Free for children 4 and younger when accompanied by a paying adult

ABQ RIDE bus passes, transfers and promotional coupons will NOT be accepted and passengers must provide exact change.

Please note: Park & Ride fare does not include gate admission.

 

Will any regular bus routes go to the State Fair?

The following ABQ RIDE bus routes stop at or near the Expo New Mexico State Fairgrounds and do accept regular bus passes and transfers:

  • Route 66 - Central (schedule extended until midnight during the fair)
  • Route 766 - Rapid Ride Red Line (Rapid After Dark will run Fridays and Saturdays & regular service on Sunday - Thursday will run until midnight during the fair)
  • Route 11 - Lomas
  • Route 3-157 - Louisiana & Montano lines
