Consider the environmental benefits of using alternative forms of transportation.
Albuquerque, let's clear the air.
Single-occupancy vehicles are one of the largest contributors to air pollution in Albuquerque. According to the American Public Transportation Association, using alternative transportation can reduce harmful CO2 emissions by 37 million metric tons annually.
Take the Pledge
Every person who choses to use alternative transportation decreases their impact on air pollution.
Not only does alternative transportation help the environment, it also helps your budget. A household that uses alternative transportation can save an average of $6,251 every year.
Drive less. Save money. Clear the Air.
ABQ RIDE invites you to take the Clear the Air pledge and ride the bus, bike, walk or carpool from September 2013 to April 2014.
Over 250 people have registered for the Clear the Air Challenge at our promotional events the past few months. Those people have pledged to incorporate alternative transportation into their daily travel to reduce their impact on the environment. Are you up for the Challenge?
