    1. Create a text to 2-7433 (2-RIDE).
    2. Enter your 4-digit bus stop number (located on the round puck at the bus stop)
    3. Add a space.
    4. Enter your route number.
    5. Send the text and wait for a reply.

    How to find a Bus Stop Number

    To find the bus stop number, look for the round puck with a tactile, blue 4-digit number posted on the pole about five feet above the ground at the ABQ Ride bus station. Most pucks will face the sidewalk.

    The bus stop number will also be provided in Type II Braille below the tactile number.

      Each ABQ RIDE station has a four-digit bus stop number that identifies the location of the bus station.

    • Where is the Bus Stop Number located on the street?

      Bus Stop Numbers can be found on the pucks at each station. Look for the round puck with a blue, tactile 4-digit number posted on the pole about five feet above the ground at the ABQ Ride bus station. Most pucks will face the sidewalk.     • What if more than one route at my bus stop serves my destination? How can I find out which comes first?

      You will need to enter the bus route number, then each bus route in a separate text message.

      ABQ RIDE does not charge a fee to use TXT2RIDE (27433) service. Normal message and data rates apply according to your mobile phone service provider and text message plan.

    • Does TXT2RIDE (27433) retrieve real-time arrival information?

      No. Scheduled departure times are provided. If you have an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, you can download ABQ RIDE's smartphone app to locate buses within a minute’s accuracy.

    • What if I can’t get schedule information with TXT2RIDE?

      Call 243-RIDE (7433) to speak with a customer service agent.

    • Will TXT2RIDE (27433) provide text updates about bus service?

      ABQ RIDE can also attach notices to the text message response if a route is on detour or experiencing a delay.
