Moving 300 Ft. South of Present Stop to Better Accommodate Street Traffic

11/21/13

As of Friday, Nov. 22, 2013, the northbound #766-Rapid Ride/Red Line will have a new stop in the vicinity of Lomas and Louisiana.

The current Rapid Ride stop is on Louisiana, north of Lomas, next to Burger King.  However on Friday, that stop will move about 300 ft. south on Louisiana, to just south of Lomas, next to the Casa Used Car lot.  This new, Rapid Ride stop will also be located next to an existing stop for the northbound #157-Montaño/Uptown/Kirtland route.

“We’re moving that stop a few hundred feet south to better accommodate westbound traffic on Lomas turning northbound onto Louisiana, especially when the Rapid Ride is stopped there leaving or picking up passengers,” said Bruce Rizzieri, Director of ABQ RIDE.
