New Rapid Ride stops (eastbound and westbound) will open at Central and Edith NE on Saturday, June 2, 2012. They will be served by two routes, the #766 Rapid Ride/Red Line and the #777 Rapid Ride/Green Line.
ABQ RIDE's analysis of the neighborhood showed the Central and Edith location had enough population and employment for placing Rapid Ride stops, with area plans providing for additional growth in the future.
The Central and Edith Rapid Ride stops will be open on a trial basis to make sure that sufficient ridership develops.
