Unprecedented Demand for Tickets Sells Out Tour in Record Time
Tickets for ABQ RIDE’s Luminaria Tour on Christmas Eve have sold out. They sold out late Friday night, November 29; the earliest ever sellout of tickets for the event.
The one-day sellout yet again eclipses the record for the fastest sellout of the tour, which sold out last year in just five days.
The tour, which begins and ends at the Albuquerque Convention Center, takes approximately 45 minutes to one hour and travels through Old Town, the Country Club and Los Altos Neighborhoods.
Tour times are scheduled at 5:20 p.m.; 5:50 p.m.; 6:15 p.m.; 6:55 p.m.; 7:20 p.m. and 7:45 p.m.
Due to ongoing construction at the Albuquerque Convention Center, the set up for this year's pickup, drop off and parking will be a little different.
Tour goers are encouraged to arrive no later than 20 minutes prior to scheduled departure time and can park for free at the Convention Center’s eastside parking structure at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Broadway.
Free parking will also be available for disabled and special needs individuals at the parking lot located at the northwest corner of 3rd Street and Marquette (just north of Civic Plaza). For your safety, please follow the signage to the Luminaria Tour.
Parking underneath Civic Plaza is also free. However, due to the Convention Center renovation project, the underground tunnels to the Convention Center are closed and there will be no access to 3rd Street and adjacent sidewalks between Marquette and Tijeras. Please follow the signage to the Luminaria Tour.
