ABQ RIDE’s Annual Luminaria Tour Sold Out

Tickets for ABQ RIDE’s Annual Luminaria Tour on Christmas Eve have sold out. 

All tour tickets were sold by 11:15 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 24. Phone sales in addition to online sales helped give more people access to tickets and extend the selling time.

“We’re proud to present once again this traditional highlight of Albuquerque’s holiday season,” said Bernie Toon, Director of ABQ RIDE. “Generations of New Mexicans have taken the tour since it started in 1955.”

The tour begins and ends at the Albuquerque Convention Center. It takes approximately 45 minutes and travels through Old Town and Country Club neighborhoods.

Tour times are scheduled at 5:30 p.m.; 5:50 p.m.; 6:10 p.m.; 6:45 p.m.; 7:05 p.m. and 7:25 p.m.

Tour goers are encouraged to arrive no later than 20 minutes prior to scheduled departure time and can park for free at the Convention Center’s eastside parking structure at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Broadway.

Free parking will also be available for disabled and special needs individuals at the parking lot located at the northwest corner of 3rd Street and Marquette (just north of Civic Plaza).  For your safety, please follow the signage to the Luminaria Tour.
