Luminaria Tour (SOLD OUT)

This December 24, take a magical ride with the City of Albuquerque and ABQ RIDE on the Luminaria Tour.  Enjoy this annual New Mexican tradition without worrying about parking, driving through snow, annoying traffic delays, or wasting gas. Instead, let ABQ RIDE tour you through a twinkling wonderland in Old Town, the festively adorned Albuquerque Country Club, and other hot spots decked out for the holiday.

Ticket Prices:

• $6.00 per seat
• Senior citizens and students pay the same price
• Children 4 and under are free as long as they do not occupy an additional bus seat

Tour times:  5:20 pm, 5:45 pm, 6:10 pm, 6:50 pm, and 7:15 pm

Additional Information on Tickets:

• Tickets will be e-mailed to you and should be printed before attending the event. If you do not have an e-mail account, will-call tickets are available at the venue. Please assure that you have enough time to pick them up before your tour departs.
• Ticket purchases are non-refundable.

Directions: Luminaria Tour parking and departure from UNM Stadium

Located on the southeast corner of Avenida Cesar Chavez and University Boulevard, University Stadium can be easily accessed by exiting off I-25, just south of the Big-I, at Avenida Cesar Chavez. Head east on Avenida Cesar Chavez. After crossing University Boulevard, University stadium is located on the right.

FAQ's

What if I don't have an e-mail account to access my printable tickets? We can accommodate with a will-call. Check in at the ticket booth when you arrive at the event. Your tickets will be there waiting.

I don't have a credit card. What can I do? You may conduct a cash purchase at the Alvarado Transportation Center at 100 First Street SW. (map it)

Are tickets transferable? Yes. If you cannot attend, feel free to give your tickets away. If your ticket is a will-call, tell the person receiving your seat to bring your information with them (first and last name and number of tickets purchased).

Can I buy additional tickets there? Yes. We will conduct cash sales at the event, while supplies last.

Are the buses wheelchair accessible? Yes, there will be accommodations for the mobility challenged.

May I get off the bus to walk around and board again? No. The tours do not stop to allow for this.

Is there a restroom on the bus? No. The tour will be nearly an hour long. There are restrooms available prior to boarding.
