Trio Los Amigos brings their romantic music to the Alvarado Transportation Center to entertain during the lunchtime hour.
Los Amigos have been playing for six years in many venues including festivals, private performances, and TV appearances in Mexico and the United States. They play a variety of Latin-American music. They have distinguished themselves in New Mexico for being one of the few groups that continues to play traditional music from the most popular Mexican trios, American and Latin-American singers & bands.
Omar Villanueva is the founder and lead guitarist and singer. He is well-known in New Mexico for his talent and virtuosity playing the "Requinto" (Mexican lead guitar). He has been awarded as a guitarist and also as a solo singer.
Los Amigos have shared their music with passion to New Mexico audiences throughout performances in most venues in Albuquerque, Santa Fe and surrounding areas.
