The City of Albuquerque is considering a Bus Rapid Transit plan for the Central Avenue Corridor from 98th Street to Tramway Boulevard, to connect east to west and provide infrastructure to enhance neighborhoods.

ABQ RIDE Announces Public Input Sessions for Proposed ABQ RIDE Central Corridor Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Concept

As part of the redevelopment of historic Route 66 through Albuquerque, the City of Albuquerque is looking at a possible Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Service along Central Avenue. The City Transit Department (ABQ RIDE) is undertaking an Alternatives Analysis as the first step in determining the operational and financial feasibility of such a BRT system, with Central Avenue as one of the potential locations of the service.

ABQ RIDE needs your input! Beginning May 7, 2013, ABQ RIDE has scheduled a second round of public input sessions to get your ideas and opinions about this BRT concept.

The six scheduled public meetings are:
