City provided web training takes a 2 tiered approach to web publishing.

This basic training assumes students have no previous knowledge of web publishing and the course is only intended to cover enough information to publish to the City’s website, www.cabq.gov.
Departments are changed a minimal fee for training, which is provided, in part, by a qualified external trainer.
We do not cover the following topics in training: image editing, HTML or any web programming, and graphic design. In order to become a skilled web publisher, students will need to pursue additional training from local educational institutions such as TVI or UNM Continuing Education. This course is only intended to be a first step on the road to becoming a web publisher. Self study, the purchase of additional books and reading material, additional courses, enhancing your writing and grammar skills, and surfing the world wide web are all important aspects of becoming a skilled web publisher.
Every City department has a primary web liaison. This individual should be the first level of support for all web inquiries. The primary web liaisons are responsible for publishing to the live web server, www.cabq.gov, and for ensuring all policies, standards, and guidelines are met.
