FTP

The City of Albuquerque Information Systems Division (ISD) supports hosting for City departments and programs (see website policies for more details), and usernames and passwords. ISD supports Macromedia Contribute for publishing to the City's staging server and an internal tool called PEST for publishing from the staging server to the live server. Only those employed by the City of Albuquerque will have access to PEST. ISD will provide Contribute keys for official City of Albuquerque web sites/pages.

In the case that an external FTP client is needed for the City's staging server...

Dreamweaver FTP Client

Our test/staging server is: http://w3.cabq.gov
Host directory: /website/html/

WSFTPLE Test Server Setup (Note: this software is no longer free for government use.)

Under the General Tab
Profile Name = w3 (or whatever you want to call the City's test server)
Host Name/Address = w3.cabq.gov
Host Type = UNIX (standard)
User ID = (your username)
Password = (your password)

Under the Startup Tab
Initial Remote Site Folder = /website/html/
