CELEBRATE! World Storytelling Day all day events at the South Broadway Cultural Center
In celebration of World Storytelling Day, Storytellers of New Mexico is bringing to the South Broadway Cultural Center three exciting programs on March 18th, 2017 culminating in an evening performance!. The morning kicks off at 11 a.m. with a FREE 45-minute storytelling program for children ages 5-11. At 1 p.m., Storyteller Sarah Malone will give a FREE three-hour youth storytelling workshop for ages 12-18, also in the conference area.
Starting at 7 p.m., Storytellers of New Mexico brings the community "Tales of Change," an evening of stories that address those unexpected and defining moments of our lives. The program will offer a wide variety of genres including music and movement. Suitable for ages 12 and up.
