Description
Trashion Fashion is a fashion show that challenges designers to create outfits using upcycled materials. That means instead of buying new fabric and materials, they must create their outfits using reclaimed, recycled, and found materials. Each outfit will be worn by a model and displayed on a traditional fashion show runway.
Music & More
Background music will be provided by youth members of Warehouse 508.
Intermission entertainment will be provided by musical group Basura (Spanish for Trash), which will use instruments made of trash to play music.
Before the show, a variety of local business will provide information on recycling and its importance to helping to Keep Albuquerque Beautiful.
