Dispose of up to 55 gallons of household hazardous waste.
Examples of household hazardous waste include those household wastes which can burn easily (flammable), corrode or irritate skin (corrosive), or poison humans and animals (toxic).
- Pool chemicals
- Used motor oil (automotive fluids)
- Automobile batteries
- Mercury containing items, including fluorescent light tubes and bulbs
The following items cannot be collected for Hazardous Waste Collection Day.
- Business-generated waste
- Biomedical waste
- Compressed gases
- Non-hazardous waste
- Prescription medicine
- Radioactive waste
