Corbin Hayes Memorial Raft Race 2009

The 2009 Corbin Hayes Memorial Raft Race down the Rio Grande was a huge success! Hundreds of watercraft including canoes, kayaks, rafts and homemade crafts took part in the annual event. Crews rode the tide from the Alameda and Tingley Beach launch sites, to the much-improved and up-graded 'Take Out'-site just south of the Rio Bravo Bridge. Race winners are listed by category.

The Official Race t-shirts are available for pick-up at 1801 4th Street NW. Call 311 if you need directions. Come by with your registration form anytime between 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday through Friday.
