Bicycle Commuter Essentials
Learn: How to fix a flat, basic bicycle maintenance, and basic principles of biking safely in Albuquerque. This is a two hour seminar taught by a League of American Bicyclist certified instructor and includes a complimentary patch kit, Bicycling Street Smarts Booklet, and - while supplies last - a 2011 Bike to Work water bottle.
This class will be hosted at the City of Albuquerque's Parks and Recreation Building, 1801 4th NW

Bike Mechanic
This is a comprehensive training seminar.
Topics covered include maintenance of the following parts:
- Brakes
- Derailleur adjustments
- Headsets
- Bottom brackets
- Wheels
Some portions of the seminar are hands-on while others are demonstration only. Instructors will provide bicycles to work on, and attendees are encouraged to wear appropriate clothing.

Traffic Skills 101
This is a comprehensive training seminar. Topics covered:
- Bike maintenance
- Bike fit
- Rules of the road
Seminar includes a bicycle handling skills demonstration and a short group ride of 4-5 miles. Attendees are asked to bring a bicycle in good working order, a certified crash helmet in good condition, and appropriate riding clothing.

Bike Rodeo: Youth Bicycle Safety Program
Any group interested in hosting a bike safety clinic for youth ages 7-10 can call (505) 768-BIKE (2453) to schedule a Bike Rodeo. This program will teach the child how to "drive" their bike safely through a safety talk and a hands-on experience. The lessons learned will teach the child how to avoid injuries as they drive their bike.
We will provide bikes, helmets, props, signs, and the best instructor in the country. Groups must provide at least 15 youth, a smooth surface (parking lot or basketball court) and some adult help.
