Box Canyon Rappel
Box Canyon Rappel

What:Come experience TWO really cool and risky high adventure Xtreme sports in one day! First do some top-rope climbing on Cattle Call Wall, with routes rated from novice to near expert, from about 30 to 50 feet tall, as well as some very fun unrated cracks. Then if you need to rest your climbing muscles, head to the highest peak, above "Bovine Inspiration", where you can rappel approximately 70 feet to the ground below. Experienced Outdoor Recreation Adventure Leaders will emphasize safety, as well as proper technique. Each guest needs to wear sturdy shoes (hiking or good fitting tennis shoes) for the short hike and the rappel, and clothes that you can move in. Guests also need to bring water, lunch, snacks, sunscreen and a hat. Dress for the weather. Climbing shoes are highly recommended, and can be rented at REI (Recreational Equipment, Inc.).
