2009 Punt, Pass, and Kick Competition

Produced by National Football League Properties, Inc. and sponsored by Pepsi.  The NFL Pepsi Punt, Pass & Kick program is open to both boys and girls between the ages of 8 and 15 (age verification as of December 31, 2008 – see chart below).  Boys and Girls compete separately in local competitions, with the top finisher in each of the four age groups (8-9, 10-11, 12-13, 14-15) advancing to a sectional competition.  The top finisher in each of the boy’s and girl’s age groups from the pool of Sectional competition champions will advance to the Team Championship event.  The top score in the boy’s and girl’s age groups from the pool of Team Champions will advance to the National Finals.

EVENT LOCATION:  Milne Stadium (Hazeldine SE & Spruce SE)

BRING A FRIEND WITH YOU TO PARTICIPATE!

·  NO FOOTBALL CLEATS OR TURF SHOES WILL BE PERMITTED.
Soft soled sneakers will be allowed.  NO BARE FEET.

·  EACH PARTICIPANT WILL HAVE ONE PUNT, ONE PASS AND ONE KICK.  SCORES ARE

    DETERMINED BY DISTANCE AND ACCURACY FOR THE THREE EVENTS, WITH WINNERS

    DETERMINED BY THE HIGHEST CUMULATIVE SCORES.

If you are going to pre-register, it must be in our office by September 24, 2009.  You can mail the entry form and proof of birth date to:  Jerry Cline Tennis Complex, Attn:  PPK, 7205 Constitution NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110 or fax entry form and birth certificate to 764-1719.  After the mail in deadline, the form and birth certificate must be brought to the local competition on the day of the event. 

PARTICIPANTS MUST SEND A  BIRTH CERTIFICATE, BIRTH CERTIFICATE AFFIDAVIT,  OR RELIGIOUS DOCUMENT WITH THE REGISTRATION FORM (PLEASE BRING ONE FOR US TO KEEP).  THIS IS NEEDED FOR AGE VERIFICATION.  IF YOU DO NOT BRING THIS WITH YOU, YOUR CHILD WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE.

Participants may register and compete in only one (1) Punt, Pass & Kick competition per calendar year.  Competing in more than one will result in automatic disqualification.
