This is the first time this indicator is being used and there is not data from other years.

National Comparison NATIONAL/REGIONAL COMPARISON:

Among the seven peer communities, Bernalillo's population is 2nd lowest and yet newspaper circulation is ranked 3rd.

Citizen Perception CITIZEN PERCEPTION:

This condition was ranked in the lower quartile for both importance and progress. Importance ranked 41st of the 51 desired conditions surveyed. Progress ranked 40th. Thus, the data shows that Albuquerque's progress, if measured by newspaper circulation alone, is in the top 50% of peer communities.
