Generally the weather is in the upper 70s to lower 80s during this time period. It gets into the 50s at night. Winds are generally light and variable. Hydrate or die holds true here. This is the high desert, the humidity is very low, and there is a lot of sun. You will de-hydrate very fast. Wearing sunscreen, lip balm, and a hat is very important. The UV index is very high here and you can get a nasty sunburn fast!
| How do I register? |
You can register online at http://cabq-apd.tix.com . There you will be directed to the NRA Albuquerque Regional Website and a link to “Tix.com” to register. We are not accepting mail-in registration this year.
| Can I register on site? |
Yes, there will be computers set up on-site so you can complete your registration there. We will accept checks and cash for your registration fees at the site, if you do not wish to use a credit card.
| Can I ship my ammunition to the site prior to the match? |

| How do I get to the range? |
The range is located at 16001 Shooting Access Rd. NW. The easiest route would be from I -25 drive west on I-40 to the Paseo Del Volcan exit (Exit 149). Turn north (right) on Paseo Del Volcan. Drive north until you see the Shooting Range State Park signs. Turn west (left) and follow the signs to the park. The telephone number at the range is (505) 836-8783.

| Are there RV parks close by? |
The closest RV park is The American RV Park, 13500Central SW (1 800 282-8885). See Map below

| Is there camping or RV hook ups at the range? |
There are no hook ups at the range at this time, but there is ample parking for RVs if you wish to dry camp.
| Are there hotels and restaurants nearby? |
The host hotel is the Fairfield Inn, North East, 1760 Menaul NE Albuquerque NM 87102 (505 889-4000) Other hotels and restaurants can be found by searching the Albuquerque Convention and Visitors Bureau site at www.itsatrip.org
| Are there practice sessions? |
Yes, the Regional practice session is 9/27 and the NPSC practice session is 9/30.
