Police Chief Raymond Schultz promoted 13 police officers Friday during a ceremony at the Albuquerque Police Academy.
Albuquerque— On January 27, 2012 eleven officers were promoted to sergeants and two sergeants were promoted 
to lieutenants during the ceremony. All of the officers promoted will be assigned to the department’s Field Services Bureau, which is responsible for taking calls for service.
“These officers are outstanding representatives of the department and the city of Albuquerque,” Chief Schultz said. “It’s an honor to be able to promote them.”
Those promoted include: Lieutenants Gabe Mares and Robert Middleton; Sergeants Cori Lowe, Jim Geha, Arturo Gamboa, Jason Westbrook, John Gonzales, David Baca, Jeremy Bassett, Richard Hilger, Jennifer Perez, Jason Sanchez and Johnny Yara.
