The Albuquerque Police Department is accepting applications for the next Citizen's CSI Academy. The on-line application is available from May 1, 2013, through May 31, 2013.
The purpose of this unique course is to introduce the public to the field of Crime Scene Investigation (CSI). The course is intended to stimulate the minds of individuals interested in this field as a career, as well as introduce the general public to the exceptional capabilities of the Metropolitan Forensic Science Center.
The CSI course is 10 weeks long and meets once a week on Tuesday evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The course is taught at the Metropolitan Forensic Science Center located at 5350 Second Street NW. The next class starts on Tuesday, August 6, 2013.
There are 25 seats available. Applicants must meet the minimum criteria and pass a background investigation to attend.
